My name is Emma // Maplemink // Maple and I love blogging. And Animal Jam.

This page will be a combination of the history of AJM and my experience on Animal Jam, so stick around. ^-^

I joined Animal Jam sometime in 2011 after seeing several ads on the National Geographic Kids magazine. I joined under the username "purplecheetah678," and if you search up that name it will actually show up, as a matter of fact. I didn't play for very long, and stopped playing a few days after.

I rejoined Animal Jam in December of 2014, shortly after the Jamaalidays. My username was mintie1012. I put 'mintie' as a tribute to one of my idols on Instagram, @hashtagdollswag, who had an AJ account called Mintie1403. I joined because two of my real life best friends encouraged me to.  Sometime in January, I got my first membership! These days were the best days. I didn't care about rares or betas. I just wanted to have fashion shows and decorate dens and make outfits.

On February 22 2014, I made me and my best friend Ninjadog made my our first Youtube channel, called AJ Tacos. Our first video was on the new eagle Jamaa Journal. I also created a blog called the Spirit of Jamaa, although it terribly failed. We slowly but surely started gaining subscribers and views. There was a problem, however. It was supposed to be a collab channel, but I was the only one recording. Eventually, we started to drift away. On the channel, I started to branch out into other games, such as Transformice and Minecraft. I'm grateful for having such amazing subscribers who supported me every step of the way. I changed the username to GamingTacos, and one day I changed it to Mintie. That's right, I decided to go solo. Ninjadog didn't even mind, I'm still not sure if she noticed. Oh well.

Around this time, I was full-on addicted to Animal Jam rares, betas, and becoming 'famous.' I gained my dream item, a long black spiked collar.

Scammed.

Right now it doesn't bother me, but it bothered me A LOT during that time. My membership ran out also, so I guess I just kinda stopped eventually. I stopped making AJ videos whatsoever on my channel. I deleted all of them and started fresh with a Sims and Minecraft channel named MintieMouse. It now has 100 and something subscribers.

After almost half a year, I have now rejoined Animal Jam. I started up this blog on December 24th 2015, as well as a new Animal Jam channel (which I am yet to start uploading on). I decided on a new username: Maplemink. Maple because I love that word, and Mink as a tribute to my Transformice username, Mintiemink. I changed my AJ username and named my new channel that as well.
