What are birthstones?
Birthstones are, in real life, just different minerals that "correspond" with different months. I'm not sure how or why they know what stone goes with which month, but whatever. Your birthstone is the stone that corresponds with your birth month. For example, August goes with the Peridot, so my birthstone is the Peridot. Animal Jam sells birthstones every month. Here is a short little guide to all of the birthstones sold in Jamaa!
